How can we help?

Quick answers below. Feedback and contact open once Jekto launches.

Frequently asked

Is Jekto really free?

Yes. Every feature, for everyone, with no trial and no paid tier. We run on donations.

Do I need an account?

No. Jekto works fully offline and can share over your local network without one. An account is only needed to put projects online for remote access, invite people by email, or use direct messages.

Where is my data stored?

On your computer by default. If you put a project online, a copy is stored in Jekto Cloud so members can sync. The owner can take it offline at any time, which deletes the online copy.

How do I turn on two-factor authentication?

Sign in on this site and open Account → Two-factor, or use the account settings in the app. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app and save your backup codes.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page. Resetting signs out every device for safety.

Can I turn off features I don't use?

Yes - features like Calendar, Spaces, Discussions and Sections can be switched on or off per project in project settings.

When are macOS and Linux coming?

They're in the works. Watch the roadmap.
